Aamna Mohdin: Scattered - The making and unmaking of a refugee

£8.00

In 2015 Aamna Mohdin travelled to Calais to report from the refugee camps there. When she returned to London and discussed with her Somali parents what she had seen, their response surprised her: didn't she remember being a refugee herself? In Scattered, Aamna describes her own journey of discovery, and investigates the costs and consequences of displacement. It is a story of returns and reunions, and a joyful celebration of family and belonging. Aamna will be in conversation with journalist Georgina Godwin.
