Alan Bennett: The playwright and diarist at 90

The distinguished author of, among others, Talking Heads, The Madness of King George, The History Boys and The Lady in the Van turned 90 in May. Adam Low and Martin Rosenbaum, who have presented their Seamus Heaney and Ulysses documentaries at past festivals, are making a film to mark the occasion which will be broadcast in the autumn in BBC2's Arena strand. They will join Alan onstage to talk about his life and work, and to show clips from the forthcoming documentary.
