Susie Boyt is the author of six acclaimed novels and a memoir, My Judy Garland Life. For fifteen years she has written a column for the Financial Times, covering a broad range of topics. She is also a director at the Hampstead Theatre, and has recently edited The Turn of the Screw and Other Ghost Stories by Henry James. The daughter of Suzy Boyt and Lucian Freud, she lives in London with her husband, film producer Tom Astor, and their two daughters.
